It is our belief that without an advocate on your side, the inspection process is often slanted to benefit the large\u00a0insurance carriers and some inspection companies rely on the majority of their business being direct referrals from these major\u00a0carriers. We have seen countless reports that are incorrect and the results are quite consequential to the home owner and the\u00a0available discounts were not given and this can be quite costly.<\/p>\n

Some buyers feel that an independent inspection is unnecessary because the home is new, and the city or county was doing inspections all along. This however is not the case. Those inspectors are inspecting for code issues and not looking at anything else. We have found that despite warranties and assurances from the builder that they will be there to fix anything that comes up in the first year that needs repair, this is often not the case. Best to find things before the builder packs up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
